THE PERUVIAN PASO HORSE SHOW!

Thanks to the Cardons we attended this awesome horse show.  The Peruvian pasos are a magnificent breed that prance, instead of trotting or galloping!  We attended the National Caballo De Paso Show and competition.  It was beautiful to watch the horses prancing with the dancers in bare feet!  Look for  the youngest dancer!

Look at the young boy and girl getting ready to perform!

Love those cowboy hats and many in our group bought some, too.

The dancers were elegant and performed in bare feet!

Hats, boots, belts, blankets, crafts and jewelry!

They were all warming up and practicing their routines.

Isn't he adorable!

The following pictures will hopefully give you an opportunity to enjoy the dancers, the well trained horses, excellent riders, and their movements together!

Look how close the dancer gets to the horses' leg!

Even the very young loved the Peruvian Paso Horse Show!  Marilyn Cardon was taking a picture with her new hat.

This teenager is one of the top dancers!

At the end of their performance, these riders and dancers walk by the audience to take  a bow!

This was the youngest dancer in the competition, only 6 years old!

She performed with her grandfather and stole the show!
GOODBYE TO FRIENDS

In April, we gathered at Carmelo's Restaurant  to say goodbye to two of our temple missionary couples.  We share FHE twice a month and have an English speaking session, once a month.  They all attend the La Molina Ward that is right next to the CCM and the area offices.  We, also, try to spend holidays together, as well.  So we have gotten very close to them and are very sad when they leave at the end of their mission.  It has been a wonderful experience having such good friends and we will miss them!

The food was great, but the company was better!

Goodbye to the NeVilles and the Thompsons and thanks for your friendship and service!

We love to gather together and talk and eat!

Marilyn Cardon loves horses and especially, Peruvian Pasos!

This was our goodbye party for the Packards at our favorite taco restaurant.  Lots of friends showed up!

We said goodbye to Kent and Mercedes Willis ( center)
