MISSION PRESIDENT'S CONFERENCE IN LIMA

We stayed at the downtown Weston Hotel for two nights and gathered together with the Area Presidency and all the mission president's and their wives.  The purpose was to get more mission related training and to say goodbye to the ten couples returning home.  It was a great time to see all of the friends we have made, while we have served here.

Brenda and Ray Lewis work in the area office and Brenda served a mission in Spain with Marjean Smart.

Dan and Christy Dyer from the Cochabamba Mission.
Alan and Pat Borg from the Lima Central Mission.

Steve is talking with the Rowleys from the Piura Mission.  We will visit them next week.

We will miss the Larry and Karen Blunk from the Lima North Mission!

Terry and Janet Turk have been awesome in the Trujillo Mission!

Marilyn and Lavor Cardon are the CCM Presidents.  We spend almost every weekend with them!

The food was amazing and so were the surroundings!  This must seem very elaborate, and it was, especially compared to the lifestyle of most latinos!

Just want our family to know we are well feed!

The Westin is very modern!  Eric, you would appreciate this architecture and the inside design.

 Nice bathrooms, too!

This was our table during the conference!

 These were our interpreters!

Lilian Pino and Carol Waddell!

These are the ten mission presidents that will go home at the end of June!  We will miss them.  We are getting 15 new mission presidents and will train them on missionary health.

The wives are all taking this same picture!
The Turk's, the Dorius', the Calderon's, the Calderon's (not related), and the Blunk's!

Goodbye to dear friends and hope to see you, again!
