We attended the New Mission President's Conference at the area office and welcomed 15 new president's and their wives. It was great to meet them and make plans to visit their missions in the next few months. Steve did a power point presentation and we gave them a binder full of information they will need to care for the health of their missionaries. They no longer have medical training at the MTC, so the AMA's do that now. Following, are pictures from that conference.
Norma Johnson is in the green and helped Steve create the power point. She and Karen Garner are office missionaries, along with their husbands. Elder Garner is the Executive Secretary to the area presidency and is standing behind his wife. Elder Johnson is standing in the doorway and we all work together in the area office. We make a pretty good team!

The Cardons joined us after the conference and invited everyone to have lunch at the CCM.
Here are the 15 new mission presidents and their wives. Elder Chris Waddell and his wife are at the top left of the group. He is an area 70 and is the new 1st counselor in the area presidency.
We, also, celebrated President Waddells birthday!
